Logistics Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Intern to support our freight operations. This role provides hands-on experience in coordinating truck shipments, managing logistics data, and ensuring the timely movement of goods across the country. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:

• Assist the logistics team in booking trucks and coordinating shipments with carriers.
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays.
• Help maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, schedules, and carrier information.
• Input and manage logistics data in transportation management systems (TMS).
• Communicate with carriers and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Interest in the food distribution and transportation industry.
• Position would be in office, based out of Irvine, CA.
