Accounting Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking an analytical and tech-savvy Accounting Intern to support our finance and accounting operations. This role offers practical exposure to core accounting functions, with a strong focus on data analysis and reporting using Power BI. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Use Power BI to create and update financial dashboards, reports and visualization.
  • Analyze transaction data to identify trends, variances, and cost-savings opportunities.
  • Help maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies. 
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to support cross-functional reporting needs.                     
  • Support special projects and reports as requested by management.


Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Strong Excel skills, knowledge of accounting software a plus (Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interest in financial data analysis.
  • Position would be in office, based out of Irvine, CA.
