About Us:
The Young and Hungry podcast, led by Dr. Sean Young and his kids, Maverick and Melody, celebrates high-achieving children and inspires others by interviewing successful young people in areas like entrepreneurship, sports, academics, and more. As we are launching the podcast soon, we are looking for a passionate intern to join our team and help amplify our reach and engagement on social media.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, motivated intern to support the Young and Hungry podcast's marketing and media efforts. This position is ideal for someone with experience in social media marketing, graphic design, video and audio editing, or an interest in education and digital storytelling. The intern will work closely with our team to develop engaging content, expand our social media presence, and assist with podcast production. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Marketing: Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, targeting both kids and their parents.
  2. Content Creation: Design graphics and visuals that align with the podcast’s brand identity to engage a diverse audience. Experience with using AI to create content is a plus.
  3. Podcast Editing: Assist in editing episodes, including audio adjustments, adding intros/outros, and creating engaging soundbites.
  4. Community Engagement: Help grow our online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant conversations.
  5. Content Scheduling & Analytics: Schedule posts and analyze social media metrics to assess engagement and refine marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Preferably enrolled in a program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Production, Education, or related fields.
  • Skills & Experience:
    • Proficient in social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) and an understanding of trends in youth and education-focused content.
    • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Experience with audio/video editing software is a plus.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
