Digital Marketing Intern (E-commerce & Content Optimization)

Position Overview

As a Digital Marketing Intern (E-commerce & Content Optimization), you will play a key role in supporting e-commerce marketing activities, including email marketing, Shopify backend management, website optimization, and promotional campaign planning. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to align strategies with business objectives while gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing operations. Additionally, you will track industry trends, analyze competitor performance, and contribute insights to enhance marketing effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing & Content Creation: Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including content writing, layout design (using Canva), performance tracking, and optimization.
  • Shopify Management: Manage and update the Shopify backend, maintaining product information (images, descriptions, prices, etc.) to ensure page optimization and attractiveness.
  • Website Optimization: Optimize website layout and content to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Assist in promotional campaign planning, supporting website promotions to drive sales growth.
  • Competitor & Market Analysis: Track competitor websites, analyze market trends, and provide insights for marketing optimization.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall business goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Available to work on-site for 2-3 days per week.
  • Strong writing skills to create clear, engaging marketing content.
  • A good sense of aesthetics and proficiency in Canva or other basic image editing tools for content creation and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Shopify backend operations, including product listing and store management.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance tracking is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player with the ability to work independently.

This part-time internship requires interns to work on-site in our West Hollywood office in Los Angeles for 2-3 days per week.
