What You’ll Do
As an intern for the Logic Pathfinding Lab in Samsung R&D, you will explore emerging memories in the context of merged logic and memory fabric.
Location: Onsite at our headquarters 5 days a week
Reports to: Principal Engineer, Logic Pathfinding Lab
- Complete a comprehensive survey of the emerging embedded memories.
- Determine a solution for the memory bottleneck in general purpose CPU and AI accelerators
- Explore the open-source tools for emerging memory benchmarking at system level
- Develop a full system level benchmarking tool to evaluate and narrow down the embedded memory options for integrated logic-memory fabric.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- Pursuing PhD in Electrical Engineering/Materials Science/Physics/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
- Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining
- Should have good knowledge of emerging memories and semiconductor devices
- Knowledge of computer architecture and machine learning including LLM models are plus
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python
